Dr Salleh graduated from National University of Singapore in 1995 and start his surgical training in 1997 in Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital. He obtained his fellowship from the royal colleges of UK in 2000. He was appointed senior consultant in 2005 and clinic tutor in the university in the same year. He was trained overseas in liver and oncology surgery in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital under the world reowned Prof Chen Chao Long. He spend sometime also in Tokyo University under Prof Makuuchi. He left public sector in 2011 where he receive serveral accolades like good and long service award and young surgeon award. He joined the liver transplant team in Gleneagles hospital for 2 years to sharpen his skills in advance surgical technique.
